About

Paines Hollow

My grandmother, Anna Kiska, emigrated from Czechoslovakia to the United States in the early 1920s. She raised her family on a dairy farm in Paines Hollow, a hamlet in Herkimer County, New York, three miles south of the Mohawk River.

Malé dávky. Pečené od nuly.

Small batches. Made from scratch. Anna’s baking philosophy, translated to Czech to honor her heritage.

The wallpaper in the farmhouse kitchen made it easy to choose a perfect icon for the brand.

The inspiration for Paines Hollow Kitchen: my grandmother, a woman who was strong, hard-working, resourceful, and kind.
